Belay has been hosting web sites and applications for Fortune 500 companies for over 5 years. We offer hosting services for clients that work with us in our other Practices as well as specific hosting solutions such as colocated Microsoft Exchange servers, Microsoft Small Business Servers and hosted Asterisk VOIP servers.
 

All of our hosting options include traffic and access logging and are monitored 24 hours a day 7 days a week from a processor, storage and network availability level. We offer our clients email hosting, DNS hosting and domain name registrations. We are certified Register.com partners as well as GeoTrust, one of the largest security certificate vendors in the world. All backups are fully automated and are stored both on-site and in two off-site locations.

We offer three groups of hosting services to our clients:

Shared Servers
Many of our smaller web development clients do not require independent servers. For these clients we offer the use of our shared web farm to host their sites and email. Our web farm consists of multiple web servers with two Storage Attached Networks for data storage and backups. We provide the cost savings of shared server environments at our hosting providers while retaining control and flexibility for our clients.

Virtual Servers
Belay Development also offers virtualized servers for our clients that require an independent server environment but do not require dedicated hardware. Virtualized servers provide a unique path to migrate an existing server from a client's facility to our data center. We can image a physical server and deploy it as a virtualized server in our data center within 24 hours with a minimum of business disruption.

Dedicated Physical Servers
For our clients that require a more robust, scalable environment Belay Development offers dedicated physical server colocation. These servers are used for a variety of purposes including web server farms, Microsoft Exchange servers, Asterisk servers, and Microsoft Small Business Servers. Colocating physical servers in our data center provides our clients with dramatically improved bandwidth access, facility reliability and security. Belay Development provides complete management of colocated physical servers including hardware monitoring and maintenance.

The hosting facility is a 656,300 square-foot, 30-story office tower located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. A long-standing landmark in the Los Angeles skyline, telecommunications firms have called it home for over two decades. The building has emerged as the single most important point of connectivity in the Western United States, if not the world. Over 420 carriers currently lease space at the facility, including: Google, Vonage, Yahoo, AT&T, Cable & Wireless, Global Crossing, Level (3), Pac West, Qwest, Sprint, Verizon and XO Communications. The building maintains a team of on-site security staff 24 hours per day, seven days per week. The security staff works with integrated closed circuit television and card access systems which are monitored from the security post in the main lobby.

Belay Development also maintains a secondary hosting location in Las Vegas, NV. The majority of the data in our Los Angeles facility is backed up nightly to this facility via a dedicated 50Mbps connection. This facility is our remote location for business continuity and disaster recovery services that we provide for our clients.
