Since our inception in 2002, Belay Development has been committed to producing effective solutions in information technology, web site and e-commerce, graphic design, application development, and interactive marketing. We utilize a growing team of professionals who place expert consultation and planning and precise execution as top priorities, and we have developed the competence and confidence to ensure our success and, most importantly, the success of our clients.
As business needs change due to the fluidity of technology, Belay Development is constantly adapting to meet our clients’ needs. We are also driving this change by mastering online technologies and strategies designed to maximize return on investment for our clients. In the short term, we provide solutions for immediate needs, but we are always researching the future of technology and anticipating new ways that it will allow our clients to meet their goals. Using a sound infrastructure and methodology, we are prepared to facilitate growth and change.
Our clients vary from Global 50 companies and venture-capital startups to independent musicians and non-profits. We have offices in Los Angeles, San Diego and Phoenix, and our self-managed hosted server infrastructure is located in state-of-the-art, industry-best Internet service providers in California and Nevada.

HISTORY
Belay Development was founded in 2002 as a boot-strapped, one-person web development shop. Our philosophy remains the same today as it did then: "Our clients' success is our own." Belay has doubled or tripled in revenue and number of employees every year since that first year. We've grown from a small, two-room office in Santa Monica to a large office space with two branch offices in the Southwest. We continue to recruit the best and brightest in the industry while mentoring the existing Belay team. Building this team has been our greatest accomplishment over the years and is the reason we can provide the excellent service that we do!
As we acquired more projects and experience we realized that our services were only one piece of the technology puzzle for our clients. They had to manage multiple vendors on the same or multiple projects, sometimes with overlapping and conflicting goals. We began to expand our services to either offer the other pieces of the puzzle ourselves directly or work with vetted, preferred strategic partners. As this network has grown, we've been able to handle most projects from start to finish for our clients. The net result is a consolidated, organized and efficient approach to the projects resulting in a long-term relationship with our clients.
